GNPS Members,
Where in midtown Atlanta could you possibly see tens of thousands of native shrubs and other plants, as well as an arboretum of about 12,000 trees? And a world-class sustainability plan with a major stormwater drainage project? No, not the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. It's Georgia Tech, and we have a special opportunity to get a tour led by Jason Gregory, Sr. Educational Facilities Planner and Landscape Architect.

Georgia Tech has been recognized by the Georgia Water Coalition as one of its 2017 Clean 13 winners for its ambitious plan to restore the historic function of Tanyard Creek. Jason will give us an inside look at the infrastructure and the vast array of plants, including thousands of native azaleas, sweetshrub, bottlebrush buckeyes, oakleaf hydrangeas, sweetspires, fothergilla, and more.

The tour is scheduled for 3:30 on July 25, and is limited to 30 people (members only), so sign up soon at this registration link.
